Haha, got a nicer (woman) on the line.

omg i just talked to her, she owns.

Summary of Apple:
Quote
Can you buy new parts for macs?
Like if I wanted a better GPU
No you cannot.

So if I wanted better hardware I would have to buy a whole new computer?
You may only upgrade the RAM and hard drive.

What GPU do they ship with?
Is it possible to get the Nvidia GTX 280?
No

Arnold R: Our, Mac Pro desktop can hold up to 32GB of RAM.
Arnold R: The largest video graphics card we offer is 1.5GB of RAM.

You: what is the range of games for Mac?
Arnold R: Unfortunately, I will need to end this Chat.

Melissa B: We have many. Basically there are arcade games, educational games.

Melissa B: You could install Windows and run them though.

Courtney M: Windows is a program by Microsoft.

Courtney M: We have Macs with Leopard.
Me: You have a Leopard?

Courtney M: Great! How will you be using your desktop?
Me: I think i will be sitting at it
Courtney M: Great! Will you be using any special programs?
Me: What is a special programs?
Courtney M:Anything that you want to run on the computer.
Me: I dont think i want things to run on my computer, can i buy something that does something in it?

I am laughing so hard. Trawlin' it up.

I do have to comment, at least Apple has the decency to hire Live chat help.

    * You are chatting with Joyce A, an Apple Expert

    *

Hi, my name is Joyce A. Welcome to Apple!
    *

      You: Hello
    *

You: I was shopping for a Mac, but I had some questions
    *

You: are there any Macs good for gaming?
    *

      Joyce A: Hello!
    *

Joyce A: How may I help you today?
    *

      Joyce A: Yes!
    *

Joyce A: Let me send you a link. One moment while I get it.
    *

      You: Hello?
    *

Joyce A: Click here for information on our new graphic card.
    *

Joyce A: Did that link open for you?
    *

      You: Yes
    *

      Joyce A: Great!
    *

You: I'm trying to get a laptop for my son. He really loves gaming
    *

Joyce A: He will love the new MacBook Pro.
    *

You: He said he needs a PC with a good "GPU". What is that?
    *

Joyce A: The new MacBook Pro combines the efficiency of an integrated graphics processor with the desktop-class performance of a discrete graphics processor. That’s because it has both. Out of the box, it runs the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor, which provides plenty of performance for everyday use with up to 5 hours of battery life.* But when you need turbocharged performance for the most graphically intensive tasks, the discrete NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT processor delivers. And thanks to a new graphics architecture, it’s easy to switch between these two processors.
    *

      Joyce A: Graphics Processor Unit.
    *

You: I'm really glad you didn't just copy and paste all that.
    *

Joyce A: Yes I did. I had to think through and write an explation for the graphics card. It is a great card but hard to describe in a few sentences!
    *

You: So, can he upgrade the computer later? It seems like a costly purchase.
    *

Joyce A: Yes he can upgrade later.
    *

You: Does that cost a lot?
    *

Joyce A: I recommend the faster hard drive through as that is expensive to upgrade. A technician would have to be paid to change. Check out the 7200 rpm hard drive.
    *

You: That isn't something I could do at home?
    *

Joyce A: It is not recommended for non technicians to swap out the hard drive but you can.
    *

      You: Oh.
    *

You: My son keeps telling me he wants to play something called a "crCIA". Can this laptop do that?
    *

Joyce A: Remember when you compare the PC and the Mac that Microsoft VISTA takes 1 to 1.5 GB of memory to operate and Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard takes about .5 GB.
    *

Joyce A: That gives you more "available" memory.
    *

Joyce A: Macs aren't vulnerable to the viruses and spyware that plague Windows PCs.
    *

You: That sounds useful. Do most games run on a Mac?
    *

Joyce A: If he is running Mac OS X 10.5 he will not need virus protection.
    *

Joyce A: Many games have a Mac Version as well as a Windows version.
    *

Joyce A: Also, since Macs have a reputation for outstanding stability and security, and not for crashing or getting pesky viruses or spyware, you can enjoy working on your computer, rather than be frustrated by it. This is probably the most popular reason people purchase Macs!
    *

You: So I'd have to find him a special Mac copy of all the games?
    *

You: Is there a Mac version of this "CrCIA" thing?
    *

Joyce A: When I do a search for CrCIA in google, I see a Mac version.
    *

Joyce A: Also he can load windows on his Mac and play all his pc games.
    *

Joyce A: Leopard is the world’s most advanced operating system. So advanced, it even lets you run Windows if there’s a PC application you need to use. Just get a copy of Windows XP or Windows Vista and start up Boot Camp. Setup is simple and straightforward — just as you’d expect with a Mac.
    *

You: Doesn't that beat the point of having a Macintosh?
    *

Joyce A: When using Boot Camp to install the Windows operating system, Windows will run on a separate partition on the hard drive 100% natively at 100% efficiency!!
    *

Joyce A: No if he is ONLY playing his game on the Windows side it is unlikely he would get any viruses. Then he can do everything else, like mail, ichat, etc. on the Mac Side.
    *

      You: Oh
    *

You: He keeps saying he doesn't want a Mac because all his friends say they are...well, I won't repeat what they said. How can I convince him to get a Mac?
    *

You: I've never used one before
    *

You: My friend really recommended it, but he didn't say why.
    *

      You: Hello?
    *

      Joyce A: I am here.
    *

Joyce A: I have a son who is a PC gamer. He has his gaming computer and his Mac in one on a Mac by using BootCamp. He hates removing virus and does nothing but his game on the Mac. He loves it!
    *

You: Oh, that's good to hear. I noticed that the laptop is quite a bit more expensive than other similar models for the PC, is it worth the extra cost? I've heard you can upgrade the other ones more.
    *

Joyce A: Beyond viruses and security, Macs are just plain easier to use.
    *

      You: Oh
    *

Joyce A: The Mac OS is built on a UNIX foundation that ensures security and resists crashes.
    *

Joyce A: Did you know the average PC user gets a new system every 2 to 3 years, while Mac users get a new system, on average, every 4 to 5 years?
    *

You: So you said it comes with a leopard? is this like a stuffed toy or something?
    *

You: I have a daughter that really likes that kind of thing. Might make a great gift for her.

    *

Joyce A: No Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" is our operating system!
    *

Joyce A: PC have Windows Vista.
    *

You: Oh, so Leopard is like paint and word and such?
    *

Joyce A: No is is the operating sistem.
    *

Joyce A: Paint and word are software.
    *

You: Can I run paint on Leopard?
    *

Joyce A: No the PC version of Paint cannot run on a Mac with Leopard.
    *

You: Won't my son need it for school?
    *

You: He does a lot of art projects.
    *

Joyce A: Click here to check out ArtRage Deluxe 2.5
    *

You: That sounds rather violent. Is it suitable for children?

    *

Joyce A: Paint, blend, sketch, and draw on your computer like an expert with ArtRage Deluxe 2.5
    *

You: So you have to be trained to use it? I don't know if my son is an expert?
    *

Joyce A: No it includes tutorial.
    *

You: Oh. So does he get a certificate for using the tutorials? My son has a whole wall of them, he loves getting that kind of thing.
    *

Joyce A: Will you be purchasing the Mac tonight?
    *

You: I'm not sure. I really want to get him something nice for Christmas
    *

Joyce A: May I help with any other product or order questions before you proceed?
    *

You: Yeah I have one more question
    *

      Joyce A: Yes?
    *

      You: You just got Rickrolled.

Hi, my name is Linda W. Welcome to Apple!
What are the games for Macs?
Good evening.
Would you like some assistance with your shopping?
Yes.
What are the game for macs?
Hello?
Are you there?
We have a wide range of games available here in the Apple store.
What type are you looking for?
First person shooters.
By the way, you type slow.
Which Mac do you own?
I don't own one yet.
Are you shopping for a notebook or a desktop today?
Desktop.
Great!
I want to know the games first, though, I'm a gamer, and I want to see if this is a good choice.
Other then games, what are you looking to use the Mac for?
We have thousands of applications available for the Mac as well as you can use PC applications too.
Nothing.
I want games!
Here is a link for some that are available.
Where?
Games
Thank you.
Let me know if that opens.
Is there any first person shooters?
Are there any*
There is a full list on that link for you to review as well as you can use the games from you current PC on the Mac.
You need to open that link to review the available games.
Well, there is no genre view.
What applications do you use on your current system?
Steam, Firefox, games.
What games are you using on the current PC?
Source engine (HAlf-Life 2) games and one called Blockland, Blackland was ported to Macs.
You can run those on the Mac.
You would need a MacBook Pro or an iMac to do so.
How?
Why wouldn't I get one?
I'm shopping for a MAc, y'know.
You can install Windows if needed on the Mac to run a PC game.
Cool, does it need a new windows disk?
You would need a licensed version of XP with service pack 2 or Vista to do so.
I run windwos 98 and I don't want to spend more money, though.
You can not use that with Boot Camp.
Why?
You need XP or Vista.
Well, then why don't I buy a PC?
Only with a Mac  do you get a system built by the same people who make the hardware, operating system and most of the installed applications. Everything just works together perfectly.
Actually, I can upgrade a PC for newer games.
May I help with any other product or order questions?
THat is all.
Thank you for visiting the Apple Store. We appreciate your business. If you would like more help, please chat with us again.

In case it was a real person, I didn't want to waste their time.

I'm skeptical as to whether it's a bot or not.
