People who don't want to be a druggy all their life and realize it when they hit a certain point.

Except the only people who go to rehab for being "addicted to marijuana" are people who get addicted to the most simple of things.  Marijuana itself is not additive, it's estimated that 10-30% develop dependency on it, and only "9% will have a serious addiction". (source)

The point here is that he's acting as if marijuana is something hard to get rid of, and that you don't immediately go to rehab just for being too high or too drunk in an immediate moment.  I'm not an expert by no means but I know a few people who smoke it weekly practically and they wouldn't say they're addicted.

You were talking about marijuana alone because in the post you quoted he only referenced weed.  Cody made no other references to any other substances, only weed.  Therefore, it's given that we're only talking about weed.

Because you have to practically be a flawed human in order to actually become addicted to weed.  Very few people do.
