I don't like dogs anymore cause they constantly need my attention which I want for myself. Cats don't usually care, and when they do want attention, they (or at least mine) just approach and gently rub on you. If they don't get it, they walk away and forget about it.
My dogs and most other dogs I know always have to crush my legs against the furniture, shove their faces into mine, or simply jump on me. They are also much more messier and can't take care of themselves at all without breaking something or killing themselves.
