Oh god, this happened to me. We were driving down a hill and hit a patch of black ice, spun out and slammed into the side of an electrical pole. Seatbelts sure do help.

Ace is awesome, but that's completely true.  Why the hell weren't you wearing your god damn seatbelt?  It's such a simple task, and yet people don't give a stuff about it, when it can save their life.
