Could somone make it so like somone could get lit on fire when they get hit with a flame thrower like there body emotes fire and they lose health progressivly

The v8 Flamethrower only damaged you while you were being 'shot', the burning effect was just an effect.

There is nothing to do with constantly damaging you, apart from the Flamethrower firing like a spray can. If you stop using it, people won't be damaged.

My v8 (really old) 'Fire Arrows' did do constant damage but they were very overpowered! (50 but limited ammo)

Yes. Ephialtes' v8 flamethrower made you emit a "Napalm" fire (like the Vehicle fire or larger Fire A emitter) followed by the standard "Burn" one after a few seconds. But that was all just an effect, it didn't damage you.

I think Rotondo had something in an unreleased version of Zombies (like, after the last v8 one but never added to v9's) where a burning zombie would light others on fire and damage them. It was in a video.
