Horray, I got it, but I forgot that my new laptop has a faulty DVD drive, so I can't play it until I go home in 2 days. (Jan 2, 2009)

But yes, I got the Gold Edition, so I can't wait to get home now. Anybody else have it and mind giving me some reviews/tips?

I play it. I suggest you fly the tutorials, and look at learning center. If you want to, try online play. I host a session called "Pro ATC at LAX" and my GameSpy ID is James_the_blockhead. Enjoy the game!

Well, the collision models suck and it lacks explosions or damage effects so all that would happen is some warning lights come on before you hit each other then you just fly through each other. Pretty dull.

Plus, it's incredibly boring to start off.

I have Flight Simulator 2004 myself. It's ok, but I would play it more if the ground details weren't so crappy.

Well, for example, on my session I require all persons to have a mic and to contact tower. If they don't, theyre kicked. And usaully people who contact tower arent noobs.
