They didn't remake it, I ported one from FS2004 and threw it in FSX. It's still quite buggy though, sometimes FSX crashes for no reason.

i got the Gold Edition but my computer did not have room for it xD so i was clearing out old backup saves of folders

Press Y. It's called Slew mode, and is sort of like F8 but the plane goes with you. Just hit Y, and increase altitude until you're in outer space.

2004 had damage built in, you just had to edit the aircraft's files. They took it out in X.

Also, I hacked my CRJ and liked tripled it's thrust and flew it into space.

Is the expansion pack any good? I'm more interested in airliners.
