How to get Live without an expensive adapter:
Requirements:
  • Laptop/Wireless Computer
  • Xbox 360 Ethernet Cable
Steps:
1. Put your Ethernet in the computer or laptop and Xbox 360.
2. Get on the main computer and follow these steps:
 A. Go to start, connect to, show all connections.
 B. Make sure sharing is off.
 C. Connect the local area connection and the main connection to a bridge.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Hah i did this, what operating system do you have?

It can be done on many basic OSs, including XP, Vista and Mac Ostuff X.

Way to not realize this sooner btw, just use a damn ethernet cable.
Bridging networks makes the Xbox's internet access slower and basically splits your computer's internet in half.
