Final Fantasy Tactics

Story:
"Final Fantasy Tactics begins with Ivalice just recovering from the Fifty Year War against Ordalia. The power vacuum caused by the death of its ruler, King Omdoria, soon sparked another conflict. Princess Ovelia and the younger Prince Orinas are both candidates to the throne, with the former supported by Prince Goltana of the Black Lion, and the latter by Queen Ruvelia and her brother, Prince Larg of the White Lion. This erupted into a full-scale war known as the "Lion War", with either side using whatever means possible to secure their place in the throne. This included bearing an illegitimate child, killing other possible heirs, betrayal, assassination and false identities.-" -wiki

There is more to it, but yeah, it's long.

Platform:
PSP
PS1
(There are other variations called FF Tactics Advance for Gameboy Advance too)

Graphics:
The graphics are not meant to be amazing or anything but is one of the best games I have ever played.

Gameplay:
There is a massive amount of customization, one of the deepest I have ever seen. Could be the best Final Fantasy in the whole series. It is very hard to learn how to play at first but once you know, it gets a lot easier and more strategic. It takes place in the same place as FFXII (worst game in the whole series).

this is like my all time favored game ever

Hey do you know if Martial Arts is good even if you have swords equipped? I have the dual wield skill even though currently I have been using unarmed ninjas, very high damage but the Heavy Armor seems very appealing too.

i dont think it works the same.

Yeah I figured, the chakra(healing), shockwave, revive, and remedy skills are awesome though. They are more realiable than a healer.

Yeah I agree. I found the throwing items with a ninja very useful. :o

It's lame that the advanced games have some bullstuff kiddie story.

Also I didn't like how skills were learned in Advanced.

Lol I heard about some Judge thing and you don't even kill people. Also, one of the characters Luso, is unlockable in the PSP tactics version. PSP version is the same as PS1 except there are two new classes and more secret characters.

Yeah the Judge thing was loving handicapped...

I have both the advanced and DS version. There really good, probably my favourite DS game.

:D so do I

I don't like how the DS one's laws are so lame. In the first game I would load my last save if I broke a law and it made the game just that much harder. Now I don't give a stuff cause there aren't any bad side effects for more than that battle.

At least they added more classes and races.
