Author Topic: How do you script???????  (Read 1165 times)

I don't know how to script but I really want to know how. I know you could use notepad to script but whats the order of things and where to put it when your done stuff. I really just want to get a clear explanation(don't care if it's long be better that way anyway).

Search what dum dum? Forums? Tried that.

Tried Google and Youtube also.

Go into your Blockland-->Add Ons folder, and pick an add-on (the shotgun is a good example)
Open the .cs file in a good text editor such as wordpad or notepad, and thats your script.

So you copy the pattern to make other things or is one like script for all?

Sort of; you can basically use the script as a template to use when you make other weapons, but if you do so, make sure you rename the datablocks.

i just model and use basic scripts...if i want an "alien" shot gun i make a model use shot gun script...i might change the projectile sometimes but... i try to use scripts from other add ons and use my own models...:D

I also have another question. How do you make the model. I know to some of you it may seem easy but I've never made an add on. Also sorry for calling the other guy dum dum cause some people think thats harsh.

Its called sarcasm dude.
