Melee weapons in general are fairly limited. It would be a bit more creative if you could add different animations to the swing other then the simple arm swing provided with the block dude. But, adding more animations to the block dude can really only be done by Badspot, and other ways to bypass that are kind of complicated.

It's possible to simply include the hand in the model, and then just add in all the animations with that model, but then you'd need to find out a way to recolor the hand like the actual block dude's hand to make a better replacement. On top of that you'd need to figure out a way to "hide" that extra hand in 1st person view otherwise your hand won't be exactly like the block dude's hand now will it?

The easiest melee weapons are the heavier ones that don't require any real action at all, like the chainsaw. Sure those can be neat but it would still be pretty awesome to add a little diversity to direct melee weapons.

Some variations are possible.

Consider the Fist weapon, which for v9 is another generic sword-based weapon. When you use it, nothing appears to happen except you raise your arm. When you 'fire' it, your arm vaguely waves up and down at whatever opponent you're trying to hit rather than a proper punching animation. The item itself is invisible and you can't drop it once you have one. Overall, I don't like this one very much.

The v8 versions were much better. Still as melee weapons, they used a special system with projectiles to make the gloves (for Trader's version, hands) move forwards for a half-second and then reappear, almost like "Rayman" and fitting with the Blockland style very well. Rotondo's variant added extra things like a "Block" button which made it work very well. They were very original and worked very well. This is the sort of weapon I like and would like to see made more in future.

my freind got that(i didnt cause it looked and sounded super dumb)and he hit a door with it and it opened....then he couldnt put it away....

I hate the stupid weapons that are invisible and half the time dont work.

my freind got that(i didnt cause it looked and sounded super dumb)and he hit a door with it and it opened....then he couldnt put it away....

It's like a Sniper Rifle but it explodes on contact.

Just make a handheld artillery cannon or something then, I mean come on. You're mixing two of the most repetitive weapons in the game into a single weapon.

My version of the key is useful for DMs because it insta-gibs.

I guess he means faster, so it's more accurate..

Things just got a lot worse for me. If you think machine guns that do 10x damage are bad, I've found something worse.

I frequent the TWOZ city RP, however yesterday some guy name TT158, I don't remember his ID but he seemed pretty noobish because for an entire hour all he said was "what does my name say?"

Anyway this pathetic tool tries to gain popularity/admin by bribing the admins and giving them super powers based on event variables. Long story short they just copy the events, he whines about it, fails, and leaves the server possibly for eternity.

Now all the admins are running around spamming these powers which let them fire indefinite spells, grenades, and bullets from their faces, and if having every admin abuse these powers for three hours pointlessly killing civilians wasn't bad enough, the sheer myriads of projectiles being fired is also causing severe lag and glitches. So basically the entire server is becoming a death zone; and I once liked that server.

I hated that so much when they got that script espesically END IT which is pretty much kill all by impact
or GUN aimer fires fast accurate bullets and also BLAST that shot lightning.

I can't even find a well balanced weapon for my class based tdm. Most machine guns are 1 click, 1 kill. I mean can't we have low powered shotguns,  or 20 hit kill smg, or a sniper rifle that can't be Q'Qed, or a sniper that takes a long time to reload.
