Gmod add-ons

Okay, Heres my problem

I Will extract add-ons to my garrysmod addons folder.. when i launch gmod it doesnt show up or doesnt work, is there a reason? if i can get a specific explanation of HOW to install add-ons that would be great

for other souce games go to gmod settings on the menu and select the game and restart gmod

with others try the browse section

Show us how your folders look.

Open up folder and make it so we can see the folder tree on left side of explorer window.

Or just make yours look like mine.
