When I use the Connect command, I tried it with Cop, it just said "Connection failed after 4 retries."

Then you cant connect because of high ping or something.

Hehe, it's partially fun to be watching things get downloaded in Gmod. All those little files walking across your screen is funny.
Until you realize you have been downloading 600 lua files, 20 textures and 20 models.
