Author Topic: Headset or gaming mouse?  (Read 2202 times)

I've got like $100-odd bucks and I'd like to spend some of it on a better mouse or a headset. Which should I get, and what are some good ones?

Mouse G9 Series, Headsets are just plain worthless to me, I've got a $20 desktop mic and headphones from my MP3 player if I need Headphones.

I've always wanted some Bose headphones (or at least a nice around ear pair) I've got like a crappy $20 walmart pair.

Get a headset. A nice headset. A PC350. You'll need $150 though.

The sound quality on their headphones is like having love.

I suggest a G5 mouse.

Its not a headset but.... If you dont care about leakage (sound POURING out of your headphones)

I would recommended a pair of Grado SR60's The lows are clear and crips, the Highs aren't tinny at all. What happens now is that i cant stand to listen to my crappy ipod head phones or my walmart head phones becuase they have no balance and their just not full!

They leak like hell, but if your like me and just use them in your room for various games, music, etc then at 70$ there a great buy. Bose headphones are great, but.. they're 200$.

*Also, they changed the type of padding around the ear (thats an old pic) and they are VERY comfortable.

For headset, Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000, really amazing for the price.

$500? The don't even look like they have a microphone, lol.
They don't, they're headphones. Epic headphones.
Also, Sennheiser make military headphones and such, so you know their stuff is gonna be solid and great quality.

Get a mouse, groom it every day, don't forget to feed it. Have fun, and don't let it bite you.

Make sure you teach it how to use a 360 controller.

and make it lern how to play TF2, HL2, CS:S, etc...
then make him better at the game.

Honestly what's the point in a better mouse? a mouse is a mouse, won't make much of a difference if you got a $5 or a $50 mouse.
