Author Topic: Blocko Lego Pieces  (Read 2911 times)

Go find a Lego piece that is in BL, and post an X amount to be included in a "Blockland Brick Pack".

I might (Or anybody) buy All of the pieces from BL but in a ratio directly to how often I use them in BL, so I can build my creations IRL. Like easier than Lego factory.

One second, Ill find some.

Ok just do it with words.

10 1x5x6 Window Frames
10 1x5x6 Windows (Plastic Glass)
10 Grey 1x1x1s
5 Black, Red, Green, Yellow 1x1x1s.
4 16x32 baseplates
A big amount of 1x2x1s (3 colors)

that be cool if someone made an add on to tell you the bricks your using (less there is already a way to see)

Ya, then at the end of a few weeks, I would put them into a ratio so that I don't buy to much, like enough for 1 build.

Example:

Used 55 1x1s

15 2x2s

3 64x64s

Ok I need

15 1x1s

5 2x2s

1 64x64 or something

Nice ratio idea. One little idea is to make a program that takes a save, finds out all the bricks used, and brings you to a page to buy them all. Would love to remake some of my stuff in real life.

Yea, like Beta city and stuff.

Gonna suggest Brick counter in RTB  topic.

We'd need some sort of Paint- or RGB-colour to Lego colour converter if such a tool is made.

Print bricks would be hard, I don't think they even sell individual 'letter' bricks in the Lego Factory. Perhaps a 1x1 with some sort of Blockland decal would be possible? (I remember seeing types of decal you could apply to blank minifig bodies, a similar thing could be made for individual 1x1 bricks, tile bricks and maybe separate 'large' decals to apply to stacks of bricks for 1x4x4)

You can find out how many times a word is in a document using a word editing program. The blockland saves .bls are just text documents, so we can use that function.

Load up your save file of choice, look for the block you want to find. Go to the replace all function and replace it with itself.

I use Edit Plus.

So it looks like this, go to search->replace

Find what : 8x8F
Replace with : 8x8F

then hit replace all. That will show you how many times that block is in your build.

As for the color, I did a little testing. I think it is easy to see this too.

Look at this below :
1x1" 101.75 -115.75 286.7 0 1 0  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -116.75 286.7 0 1 1  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -117.75 286.7 0 1 2  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -118.75 286.7 0 1 3  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -119.75 286.7 0 1 4  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -120.75 286.7 0 1 5  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -121.75 286.7 0 1 6  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -122.75 286.7 0 1 7  0 0 1 1 1
1x1" 101.75 -123.75 286.7 0 1 8  0 0 1 1 1

I chose the standard colors, made 1x1 bricks with each of the 9 colors if the 1st column. So it starts 0 and counts all the way to 8. The first brick,  0 stands for first column red. The last brick is 1st column brown. The rest of the numbers deal with if it is undulating, chrome etc.

edit: I did a little more testing, the column that counts from 0 - 8 actually goes higher if you add colors from more columns.

Doesn't show you the colours. Bricks from the Lego Factory can't be magically changed by spray cans :cookieMonster:

I suggested this idea awhile ago (was planning on using LEGO Factory to order the bricks). Anyway, I believe Randy created a simple converter for the colors and the bricks.

The only caveat was that you had to personally select which colors match with the ingame colors before you use the tool.

I am going to take ACM city and get all the bricks for it,

lol lets see the $.

I wonder how much badspots blockparty would cost.........

Get, a turtle.  NUFF SAID.

150$

Nah, I would need someone to write a brick counting program.
