Don't buy prebuilt computers :(

Buy parts and build it yourself, it's a great experience, and you will most likely get things cheaper.

EDIT: Saw what he meant by the Intel GMA 3100.

it's a integrated graphics card, they fail horribly.

Will the computer be better?

It's bad. The Challenger space shuttle exploded in a massive fireball killing all of the crew.

Build your computer from parts if you like....

To save money
Get better , more powerful parts
Gain valuable experience
Brag about it to all of your friends and relatives!
Experience the joy of not being ripped-off!

Will the computer be better?

Since the parts will most likely be cheaper altogether, you can buy better parts within your budget.
So most likely yes.

Not everyone can : (
What's the problem? You just buy specific parts from a website(I love http://newegg.com) and then put it together.

It's bad. The Challenger space shuttle exploded in a massive fireball killing all of the crew.

twuck
You're faster than the edit, but not faster than me.

Also, these forums have no curse filter, you have no reason to edit your words out.

I don't want to cuss, because what if my teacher or my parents found this place?
DEATH.
Anyways, what motherboard should i get?
http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=20&name=Motherboards

Depends on budget...is $540 your limit?

Haha, I still have a better computer other than monitor.

Unfortunately your power supply is 250 watts, which is weak for gaming IMO. The most you can probably get is a GeForce in the 7000s, or if your lucky, the 8400s. Most of the things below the 8 series though can't support DirectX 10, which will cause problems in Vista gaming.

Pretty much, you went ahead and bought a crappy computer and got ripped off. If you haven't bought it yet, I suggest you don't.

Also, yes, what's your budget?
