Yes but thing is that I can apply those formulas taught in physics to a real life situation and thus further my understanding of that said situation.
In physics you calculate the amount of force acting on a body, how ships calculate the depth of water using signals, you learn about sounds, etc. all I see math as is formulas. Nothing that I would apply it to in a real life situation.

I take physics, and it is nothing but memorizations of formulas. Once you get into harder things than kinematics, you'll see it is not fun.

Well I finished my gr.11 physics course and it was the only course that I've been genuinely interested in so far. While you are right that it is memorizations of formulas, as I said, you can apply those formulas to a real life situation and those formulas give you a better understand of how everything works.
Can't say the same for math though.

I'm definitely going to take gr.12 physics.

I used to be that way about math, but I just learned to deal with it. I remember the day a few years ago math got complicated to the point that I couldn't apply a life situation to it.

Me - "Umm, excuse me, but how could we use the content we're learning at the moment in life?"
Teacher in a totally uncalled for bitchy tone - "In math class!"

Female Reproductive system in a nutshell. We had a meticulous list of what our slide show needed to include, all I remember is we needed like 15 sources and 8 had to be medical books. loving sucked, I had to do 50 pages of slides since my partner didn't have powerpoint or something.
