A 9500GT is not powerful...

Far from it, actually.

9800GT is great.

Cod4
Combat Arms
America's Army
CoD5

WarRock is the loving most stufftyass game I have ever seen in my entire life.
Cod is not F2P dumbass. I have not tried America's Amy, but I will check it out. Hell no CA isn't more realistic are you kidding me? You may think it is better, but for me realism matters. When it comes to that CA is about as realistic as an alien movie from the 1960s. Tell me, what do you think is good about this game? Let me guess: hackers? Kill them. I do. They get pissed off and end up leaving...

Warrock isn't realistic as CA. Otherwise a person would kill you easily with a "cheap weapon", and it's very impossible to kill a person immediately with a RPG. CA is twice as better because:

-You can mod your weapons
-You do not get killed in seconds like Warrock
-Is not filled with hackers
-Has better realistic weapons

By the way, what if they use a cheat to make them invincible.

Fortress Forever

But only if you mute the little kiddies ;)

1)You can mod your weapons
2)You do not get killed in seconds like Warrock
3)Is not filled with hackers
4)Has better realistic weapons
5)what if they use a cheat to make them invincible.

1) True, but that really doesn't have to do with gameplay.
2) This is your own problem. I don't get killed in seconds. Get better at realistic games noob.
3) It may not be filled, but it still has hackers.
4) More realistic? Really? All of the weapons in both games are REAL WEAPONS
5) Very few know how to do this. It is a hack, not a cheat. Only the ones who actually know how to make the hacks can use this. That is very few people.

1. You're right, it doesn't have to do with gameplay, however it does enhance it.
2. I could only make a kill by buying a new weapon, on Combat Arms, it doesn't seem to be a probelm.

4. What I mean by realistic weapons, I was refering to the RPG incident. If you try to kill a person with a deagle, they lose a very small amount of health, if you shoot a person with a RPG, they still survive.

2) Not for me. I am generally a sniper. I use the m24 (default sniper) and I have a 5:1 Kill:death ratio.......
4) Yea, I do wonder about that....a bit annoying considering it blows up vehicles in like 1 shot but can't kill people....

I suggest the Crysis Demo if your looking for free, also try tracking down a ultra config if you can

I'm not getting into fist fights. Also, we are simply discussing the differences between games.

Just leave my topic. You're a loving idiot, trying to prove that a stuff game is good.

And stop making arguements.

To me, realism is only good up until the point at which the player can be come engrossed within the experience. This usually means more accurate physics, more detailed textures/models and more recently; believable AI. These advances make the experience more enjoyable and more impressive.

On the other hand, realism can be taken too far in the context of a game. Dying or having your screen completely blurred due to a single gunshot isn't an improvement to gameplay, it is a detriment to it. Living in a constant state of fear or frustration is a sensation best left to survival horror games and platformers (respectively).

Simulators are the place for unbridled realism. Whether it be a cacophony of air traffic controllers or the recording of actual live ammunition being fired, sims are the home for those who wish to experience the joys and frustrations of real life without the risk.

Ultimately the balance lies within the hazey lines between gritty, heart-wrenching realism and enjoyable, exhilarating gameplay and fantastical story-telling. COD4 is a good example of finding the right balance. It is realistic enough to allow the players to feel like the Armies #1 new soldier...braving the harshness of Iraq some undisclosed eastern European nation. But it is also simplified and exaggerated enough to make it exciting, well paced and fun.

I agree with RW here, many of the games of today seriously try too hard for realism. Too much blur and such.

But look at Half-Life 2 on full HDR. That stuff looks real, and you can tell.

Ultra Configs are stupid. Most just add an insane amount of bloom.
