All of these planes are pretty similar and making them all in blockland would end with a bunch of planes that look the same. Because we wouldn't be able to get the level of detail that makes them distinct(without using so much poly's that it causes lag).

Well, you could have different flight characterisitcs. Anyway, I would like an Alcaholics Anonamous Gun. It would be fun to shoot planes with.

Yeah, the slower the aircraft, the better handling. Su-47 = worst handling, F-22 = Good, MiG21 = best.
