Do the old authentication keys still work for newer versions?

I looked on the main site but I didn't understanded so well.
I have an old v.8 and I downloaded a second ago v.10 -can I still use my v.8 key? Or I must buy new one, send e-mails etc?

Yeah, it's the same game/keys. v10 is only an update.

Also you can always use your key. v8,v9, v10 etc. are all free updates to the game that anyone can get.
