Author Topic: Buffer Overrun  (Read 930 times)

Something saying Buffer Overrun keeps coming up every time I try to host a server.

you have to many syntax errors that the console comes over twice so it shuts down, syntax errors are errors in add-ons, more descriptive, the script for an add-on is forgeted up.

Buffer overruns can happen due to low ram or other computer related issues.

No, They're caused by too many syntax errors.

It stoped after I disabled an addon, but I still get them every once and a while

You have several broken Add-Ons. A buffer overrun will occur after a certain amount of syntax errors occur, so disabling one of the broken Add-Ons will delay the effect until you restart your server or whatever and go over the limit.

Post a console log of a crash.

Go figure, if I host a server, quit, host again and quit, and try to host again, I get a buffer overrun.
Thanks for the tip.
