Lego only has one thing against blockland to me. The life like physics of shooting a gun at them and them actually breaking and getting me arrested for using a gun without a license.

The new Bionicle sets seem to come with way too many pre-made special purpose pieces which are totally unusable for anything original. I haven't been following it much recently so I'm lost with their "story".
