No offense but, I think a good majority of the pictures in this thread are awfulbad, bad posing, no editing and terrible graphics. The only people who have semi-decent posing are Qwepir and WhoDa, Qwepir never edits his pictures though.

Like in photoshop, muzzle flashes, blood, color correction, depth of field, etc, etc. It's by no means necessary but, it can make the picture alot nicer.

Example of editing making a picture amazing:

Mainly the lighting and shadow editing, you could never ever ever achive an equivelent effect ingame.

By the way, I did not make that picture, it's from some guy on facepunch.
