I tried posing the Applejack ragdoll to see how accurate i could make it

GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN, those things are so wiggly jiggly and hard to pose, i didn't even know how to give Applejack her hat, even by looking at an official image of her, i tried, but it didn't look right

Those models look ugly to me anyway, i've seen better on Deviant Art

i had to port loads of materials and particles over, but i got it to work. (someone had already ported wheatley's body, the shields, the panels in the background, etc.)
then i used the relay that VALVe used in the shot to enable the motion blur.
done and done!

Too bad you probably can't have that same dynamic lighting that Portal 2 has in most of it's chambers due to the projectedtexture entity or whatever it is and/or the spotlight entity working differently in Portal 2 than in Half Life 2/Garry's Mod

ye, the projected-texture is a lot more toned down in gmod, but since portal 2 uses a special material for it's projected textures, it looks fine, just the quality is lower.
