dammit. i have to reinstall gmod because its folders were not in steam apps garrysmod. the file was empty and i do not know what happend. strange :I

Hah, my Gmod stayed in the username folder but grew a sourceengine folder with the HL2 VPKs in it

Did you try the "common" folder?

it was in my username folder. thats why it did not install steam pipe for the game.while it was there steam said "failed to start game. missing executable"

people ignore this post please. it is completely false. My gmod did not have steam pipe.
