yeah um i have a terrible computer and i can't render pretty effects. i also apparently cannot take uncompressed pictures because the folder i set them to save in is empty at all times and i can never figure out why it don't save hgjghwj

Check to see if they're saving in your Steam/steamapps/username/garrysmod/garrysmod/screenshots directory if they're not being saved in the steamapps/common directory

Just incase, by Username he means your steam username, so it would be this for you:

Steam/steamapps/Chromomania/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/screenshots

MLD also forgot the common part.

The common folder is in the steamapps folder, not the username folder

I'm sure the screenshots are probably somewhere on your computer, but are just misplaced wherever your pre-Steampipe installation of Garry's Mod is, because ever since the Steampipe update, some users had problems with Garry's Mod switching to Steampipe where it's folders would not move to the common folder and would instead stay in the username folder, or it WOULD go to the common folder, but save files in the username folder or some other broken nonsense like that

my screenshots folder is here

It was in the username folder before Steampipe, Steampipe caused game files to move to the common folder, some game folders might have stayed behind (like a screenshots folder) but were empty for the most part

But you might not have a username folder at all because you reinstalled Steam or something at some point and you no longer have any non-Steampipe games anymore, so one wasn't created
