There is the possibility that Vorts can heal Eli, but that's very unlikely.

Tried it. Doens't work. In HL2 your a floating arm, in E1 and 2 your a gray body.

Well, look at the bright side, in Half Life 2: Episode 3, we get to fly to the Borialis i'm sure, then we can has portal guns :D

No, that would make a paradox then because, In the game, If you die you just respawn the last save/checkpoint/What ever. So if Gordon Dies in the last game, you will respawn, die again, respawn, die again, respawn, die again, and so on.
