Well yeah, you wouldn't actually want any portions to be diecast.  ABS won't hold up the metals too well, and the mold quality is obviously not that great.  It's a show piece.

Requires too many new parts to be made.  It wouldn't happen, Bionicle was killed off because of a lack in sales.  An online petition shows a very small amount of POSSIBLE sales.  So they won't be reviving a dead line that'll require more effort on their part for what would probably be a flop.

Good gravy, never buy old legos from ebay or amazon.  Ebay and amazon users believe that old lego sets are the rarest commodity on earth.

You can buy almost any old bionacle for original price or less from Bricklink depending on it's condition and if it's new and sealed (new sealed ones are obviously pretty expensive)

That said I am extremely hyped for the new gunship. I love lego star wars (especially the republic sets). Are the clones good looking in person? That's one of the main reason's I'm interested in buying it (aside from the cool panels on the wings, bubble turrets, and a fRICKING GUNSHIP).

Well, they don't have eyes that bug out of their heads like the animated Clone Wars series minifigures do. They have the same modular helmet design but the prints are better and I prefer them overall.

Yeah, I hated that about the CW heads. Hopefully, with new star wars line, they feature some of the lesser known groups/companies and specializations. ALTHOUGH, I would love to see a Cip-quad guy or Clone Commando.

Alright, thanks. I got two of the clone battle packs so I have a general idea of how they'll be, but it's the captain and pilot designs I as most curious about as to the details.

Arealight carries a whole bunch of sick custom printed helmets/helmet accessories, including clone commandos and various standard designs. A bit expensive, but from what I've seen well worth it. If I could scrape up some money I'd buy some stuff.

Sorry, it's just my thing. I just can't buy anything that isn't factory sealed and is in mint condition.

Clone pilot decal is slightly more refined than their Clone Wars version. The captain is just the Clone Sergeant decal but yellow instead of maroon.
