i dumped them to spread them out and look through them.

You're supposed to do that in your room, silly!

they would get lost

now that

that is a lovey bionicle

You made that?
I love you forever.
Seriously.

And I love that you used the beak piece for the sword. I remember that kit.

Did you design that yourself or are there custom instructions made by someone else? Nice photography.

I made it, yes.

Designed it myself.  I wanted to ensure I kept the original proportioning and style promoting by the initial figure, instead of trying to give it some stupid, large bodytype that didn't work with the actual design.

not only are you good at dogfighting but also bionicles

marry me now

You did a perfect job with the proportioning and the armor.
I also love the fact that the mobility you've achieved is exactly the mobility they were supposed to have and had in the movies/comics/books.
Did you post that on flickr?

Also, as a headsup to anyone who wants instructions, I had to mutilate some basic pegs/technic connector pieces to make this.  Really just for the joints and size reasons.  And you'd need the stars Tahu in order for the size of the mask to work (normal Tahu's is too large).  Play it by ear, show me what you've got.  Throw in some of your own stuff, do Kopaka or something.  Funny how large this is to some people.. I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but in comparison to my actual career, I'm sort of going "holy forget it's just a lego buildup".  I took the photos to show some people, I've had this lying around for over a year now.  Had no idea it'd get this much attention (referring to DA and etc).

No, deviantart and brickshelf (pending mod approval for over a day now).  Why?

Its mostly because people really love the original Toas, the new ones are pretty lame, and seeing them in a way like that is just really cool :P

Its not necessarily in the level of effort but in the effort of NEATNESS

I'll leave this here.

I got bored so i thought. "Why not make lego slenderman"

Upon searching the web i found this wok of art.

I have full bionicle boxes by the dozens, should I build a gigantic dude and call him "Sodimizer of the heavens"?

Do they still make Bionicles?
