Author Topic: Lego Stuff  (Read 1053542 times)

I want to build a boxcar like this. It looks pretty nice though the trucks may need to be changed out. It shouldn't be too expensive either since it's less than 275 pieces and none of them are that rare. I just need to find a place to buy the pieces in bulk a bit easier.

Do you guys know what Lego Creator set this is?

I am pretty sure I have seen it somewhere.

It's definitely a set, it's a few years old. It's like one of the first when they started doing that type of stuff.

I remember my kindergarten selling it for 40 dollars, I think. LOL.

I have begun the long and tedious process of cleaning every single lego I own. I'm starting with about a pound double bagged in pillow cases, then thrown in the washing machine on delicates. This is just a test run to see if I get good results. I've read this is the easiest way to clean massive amounts of legos. I have atleast 100 pounds to go.

Here is a batch fresh out of the washer. I only did a small bit to test how it would work. They came out nice and clean. Now begins the long long road of cleaning thousands and thousands of bricks. Wish me luck

Oh man, you could build a town/medium sized starcraft with all of those bricks! And I can't believe this is only a fraction...

It's like less than a fifth of one of my big containers. I have 3 of those, then various other small buckets and stuff. It's about a decade of collecting legos so it's a ton of them. I might buy a few pounds of legos off of ebay in certain colors I want.

But so far cleaning them in the washer has been doing an amazing job. The only thing is that when they're still wet they have a little soap on them. Before some pieces were dingy but now all the colors are really nice.

SO MANY LEGOS. I currently have my third pillowcase of legos in the washer. This is going to take a while.

This is a days worth of cleaning work. That's about 1' by 1' by 1', still so much more to go

Yeah, it's a Designer set. Prehistoric creatures! I and my bro had it, it was pretty cool. The T-rex in it also featured as an enemy in World Builder 2.

Thanks, Pliny.

I appreciate it.
