Author Topic: Lego Stuff  (Read 1052690 times)

After digging through my old stuff left at my aunts house, I found my old Boba Fett and Spytron(?) guy in a bag of marbles. I have placed Boba in a plastic container, rolled in plasic, and the Spytron guy is sitting on my desk, back Illinois. I'll take pictures when I get back.
So I just dropped $103 on a bunch of parts for some modifications to my toa stuff, including parts to make a Lewa.  824 parts in all, I don't think I'll be using it all but I know I bought some extras just incase.  Spent about $60 more than I was expecting, but whatever.
Nice! Can't wait.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Here's an absolutely horrible photo preview for my second revamp of Tahu.  Mask was sanded down to reflect the original more, but keep it smaller, while the body was lengthened/readapted to fit the original size more.  It's a preview because I don't have a backdrop right now, and I don't have all of the pieces to make this the proper colors yet.

Looks great! Though the ramp thingy on his crotch is a bit much  :cookieMonster:

I knew someone would call that out.  It's supposed to resemble the way the original has a more portruding lower body, so put it there for good reason.

Yeah the spiky thing, but I guess there's not really another way to do it unless if you cut out that section.

Yeah, and I've done so much moddying that I really don't think anyone would take too kindly to literally ruining pieces altogether, rather than making pieces that could easily exist but lego's too incompetent to create pieces at specific lengths.

Hmm, perhaps you could use the 1x1 clip plates arranged in a round fashion?

then it looks like he has a flat snake head.

big deal- bionicles should have massive dongles to reflect their badassness.

seriously tho lalam that is siiick!

Got the planetary decoder today. Would recommend. Anybody got any ideas what to build with it (trying to go for things you wouldn't expect to be built, eg cafe corner into starship enterprise)?
