who here uses mindstorms (the nxt system)? because i'm doing some practice work on it so i can figure out how to build something with a vex robotics system and i've found myself stumped.



i've since removed 2 layers from it and shortened one of the arms on the base. currently i have it set up so that the right base arm is connected to the axle of a wheel while the left base arm is connected to an outer hole. right now i'm trying to figure out how to mount the servo motor the wheel is connected to to the nxt module, but that's not what i'm here to ask.
does anyone have any better ideas on how to extend and retract the lift arm? it needs to be pretty efficient because it needs to power two of these arms at once.
