someone should make a flash event sorta like that white flash event.

i would want this because, say someone made a pathway that ends, but when you touch the end you are teleported to the 2nd part of the path. i would use this event to make it sorta like a transition between the paths.

that would go awesome with black hole FX with muffin's emitters and zoneevents.

no, set white out makes a WHITE flash

I'm still a bit confused... What i think would make the most sense would be different colored flashes or an image of the previous path that fades... yeah, just- just explain more. what are you requesting EXACTLY.

So say, onplayertouch player setblackflash

When he touches the brick his view would turn black

How can you not understand what he is asking?

He wants the exact same thing as setwhiteout except it would be setblackout.

So you would see a flash of black instead of white.

The white flash and red damage flash are automatically handled by the game. I just made the two relevant functions enabled as Events so you could use them. Any other colour would need client-side scripting - people would not see the effect without downloading the mod, which isn't good.
