Author Topic: Team Fortress 2 voice commands... On the Xbox?  (Read 12218 times)

I was doing this game on Dustbowl, i was on Red team, and this guy named Atticus was on the Blu team, i seen him say (Voice)Atticus: Voice Command and (Voice)Atticus: MEDIC!

How is this possible? I know you can mod the game, but do mods like that work in other servers, not just yours? Also Atticus didn't start the server, it was someone else, i don't think they had a modded TF2, so... like i've already said, how is this possible? I'm pretty confused o.o

Xbox version is a port from PC, so its possible they left the voice commands in but made no controll for them. That guy may have found a way to use it.

Aw, i like the voice commands, i wish i knew how to do that D:

I tried using a keyboard thinking it'd work, nah, i tried mashing buttons on the controller, nah x2, maybe it's like the button combination for the cheats in Half Life 2 and Portal, you have to hit then in a certain order :|

how bout the xbox controller chatpad?

how bout the xbox controller chatpad?

Does that even work? Isn't that only for messaging people?

press the right thumb-stick down.

That calls for a Medic, and appears as (Voice)Name: MEDIC!

But this guy made it say (Voice)Atticus: Voice Command after he called for a Medic, and even though i was on Red team, i was able to see him call for a Medic on the Blu team o.o

Also, i find it a tad funny that his name is Atticus and we've had a member named Atticus :P

It's for anything that requires typing.
Entering names. (Character names, high scores, gamertags)
Writing a message.
Redeeming a code.
Modifying profile fields.
Typing in settings (network configuration).
And so on.

Accessing Developer Console Unlike the PC version, the console versions of TF2 are not allowed to access the developer console. Occasionally, the host of the game can accidentally access this console. The way to access it is unknown but some have brought it up simply by doing an ÜberCharge. If the host has an Xbox 360 Chat Pad, they will be able to enter in text in the text box. (Occurs on Xbox 360)
