Author Topic: Why the first add-on critizism..  (Read 1907 times)

The thing is, Most people said this was a GOOD first add-on. Then monty came along and started to flame saying 'CHRIST DONT POST YOUR FIRST loving ADD-ON' (I looked at his posts and about 80% are flame =p)
Anyways, I suppose some starfishs are giving the guys who can do decent stuff by posting their first add-on stuff. If anyone can explain this better, go ahead, I have mental helath Problems =D

The people you found in the thread praising it do that all day, from topic to topic in the add-ons section. They run around and praise everything from the most ridiculously awful stuffty edits to the more decent entries. They usually praise things before downloading them.

The first add-on you make is usually not all that fantastic (I know, my first add-on was the ion cannon). Sometimes it's a great idea, but your first add-on will likely lack allot of features and details that would make it great. This one you made, for instance, could have been a hell of allot cooler if the people using the Daedric player type would get a visual set of daedric armor, blocko style and flatshaded. THAT would have been something unusually awesome. And who knows, maybe later you'll figure out a way of doing just that, but right now this is your first simple edit and you're still learning the basics.

Now stop critizing me on that

Surely you'd only be criticised for the first Add-On? Isn't that the point?

It was made invisible to the commonfolk of the forum. I'm guessing this is so Badspot doesn't have to waste his time deleting the links out of the initial post to keep morons from installing something that breaks their game.

Fair enough. That makes alot of sense.
