Normal maps sure are fun

top left = highpoly
top right = low poly just after bake
bottom left = bake
bottom right = bake rendered in crazy bump on a cube

Today in y media class we learned about 3d design and such. Well I just remembered something that I feel like a complete idiot for not using.

Free hand drawing and using those little dots (forget what were they called again?)

Perhaps now I can mod my previous weapons to look more fancy.
