Dude, your stuff is forgeted to the moon. Start over, and make backups this time.

Ngons = solution to all first world problems.

Pepakura doesn't support n-gons as far as I know. You need to join all parts into one single object and cannot have any clipping models (thus being needed to be united by boolean).

whats an ngon
It's a polygon or face that has a non uniform number of sides.

Ie: 14 sides or 17 sides.

in this case, 10 sides for the exterior faces.

It saves polys, basically

Oh? how do i create these "ngons"?

In Blender you select the vertices/edges and press F.

I fail to see how someone wouldn't know what an ngon is. :S

Don't they teach that in high-school geometry?

Never came up in my lessons.

Nope. Or at least ngon is not an international notation.

I can only speak for Australia, but n-gons are not mentioned directly, there are however maths questions that will mention a polygon with n sides.

Technically, most countries use "n" for an "undefined amount".

So that would explain the definition.

n-gon: poly-gon, penta-gon, hexa-gon, hepta-gon, octo-gon etc.
So technically we all are using it, just that the general categorization, "ngon" is barely used.

Yeah, but our geometry lessons never had anything but triangles or squares.

Just did some animation work a little bit ago. I don't do much animation, so please be gentle. :P

That isn't bad for something you don't do often.
It really adds to it's creepyness. :)
I think they move pretty realistic.
