Your normals may be backwards

They're 3D, they just look 2D when you render them :(

It's okay, people always look like cardboard in architectural renderings.

Did you use the built in renderer with AutoCAD or Revit? Or did you use a POVray plugin? I've been looking for something to render drawings in google sketchup in (not very hard though).

Just a normal Revit render.

Due to the long life, relative success and unfortunate death of the previous topic (found here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=30733.msg887002#msg887002) I have decided to make a new, less newbish, and generally better topic (this time I hope no one posts stolen models and we don't become a argument thread like last time)! Same rules apply from the last topic (you have to have made the model to post it, only rate/criticize if the creator asks for it, be polite, etc. etc.).

Pi, the shield bolts aren't very good at all. Too round.
