Can't be.

Can it? Can you show us a version in edit mode?

This, the poly count err i think it could be like a planet made in blender?

That is a stuffload of polygons

You could probably use bump maps for all the tiny details

No, that would be way more.

Depending on the detail level.

Yea,now The Pics Sirrus :D

Sirrus, when you finish that model, I want you to script it and make it a Swep for Gmod.

Way too much polys

That will start lagging soon, you should make it subsurf level 1 for editing and subsurf 2+ for rendering. There are also much more efficient ways (not adding tons of polys to areas the should be flat) to make a model seem highly detailed when it isn't.

Holy balls I'd have to completely remake it. Right now I'm making each little detail geometrically. If you saw a gmod weapon stripped down to the barest geometry like mine is, the effect would be, I imagine, underwhelming. For example, it took me three and a half minutes on by gaming computer to render the following image:

You just couldn't put it in gmod, but I appreciate the gesture. Also, maybe it would take less time to render if I stopped rendering it at 1920x1080 with 16x tent anti-aliasing.

Anyway, here are some pics that people requested.

Polycount and the entire gun in wireframe. It's more than one object so it can't be done well in edit mode.

Just the stock.

Hopefully not with a 3.2GHz x4 64 bit processor, 4GB of 1033 RAM and a GTX260.

Nope, the geology script I used years ago crashed Blender, I saw at least 700,000 polys.
dunno how my computer didn't burst into flames....

You're using a lot of quads on flat surfaces, that's why.

I like how the top part of that stock is completely black.
:p

There's your polys.

Just a question how big is the gun's file size?
