Sirrus, when you finish that model, I want you to script it and make it a Swep for Gmod.
Holy balls I'd have to completely remake it. Right now I'm making each little detail geometrically. If you saw a gmod weapon stripped down to the barest geometry like mine is, the effect would be, I imagine, underwhelming. For example, it took me three and a half minutes on by gaming computer to render the following image:

You just couldn't put it in gmod, but I appreciate the gesture. Also, maybe it would take less time to render if I stopped rendering it at 1920x1080 with 16x tent anti-aliasing.

Polycount and the entire gun in wireframe. It's more than one object so it can't be done well in edit mode.

That will start lagging soon, you should make it subsurf level 1 for editing and subsurf 2+ for rendering. There are also much more efficient ways (not adding tons of polys to areas the should be flat) to make a model seem highly detailed when it isn't.
Hopefully not with a 3.2GHz x4 64 bit processor, 4GB of 1033 RAM and a GTX260.
