Sweet jesus, you learn fast.
Thanks, I found that Wings3D is really good for Blockland-esque models.

anybody apparently uses it :o

Wings3D is the stuff for BL themed models.

The stuff as in awesome or as in sucks?

Recently I played Kingdom Hearts and found it to be enjoyable. I noticed the main weapon of the series is a key-sword called the Keyblade.
I found its shape to be interesting, so I decided to see what I could mirror in milkshape and this is what came out:

An overview of the weapon.

Another overview.

A close-up of the handle.

A close-up of the key-edge.

Took me about two hours to make, has only 470 polygons. I did not add the chain piece as I figure it would look weird on a still-model.
It's not a perfect model(it has a few visible errors that I could easily fix) as I was just making it out of fun.

Nothing really fancy here. I tutor drafting. All of the people I'm tutoring are on this particular drawing. They have to draw an offset section of this part, so I made this animation so they could get an idea of what they were drawing and how it's cut. I thought about buying some foam this weekend and just cutting it out but I think the animation does a good enough job.

How do I texture to faces in blender? ;c

It's awesome.

I only started to use it again.
I'm in love.

So like, I tried modeling something. First two models ever.

Keep trying? (Y/N)

EDIT: Yes, I had Blockland and TF2 in mind, in order.

Reminds me of my engineering graphics class. :D
