If anyone uses any unlock, it means they need help killing people.
This is debatable for the Scottish Resistance. If anything, its a swell defense weapon unlike Eyelander/Targe.

If anyone uses any unlock, it means they need help killing people, because they can't do it with the vanilla weapons.

You don't seem to realize that most unlocks are strategic.

Take the Sandman: You get less health, but you get to render people helpless. It's a trade-off.

I think you're just pissed because YOU use only vanilla weapons and everyone else uses the appropriate weapon for the situation to kill you.

Old sandman was an actual tactic decision, now it's -15 health, making it just a better bat with a tiny repercussion.

The Sandman was purely an example.

Try the Direct Hit then. Rockets that are fast enough to hit people if you have good precision. Great for secluded defensive positions.

WOW Dark star that's amazing!

I want a giant drill weapon for Blockland.

Marcem's original assault rifle was the best model-wise.

And Imma let you finish...

You actually think people use the unlocks tactically? You shouldn't have to rely on fickle weapons to kill someone, you should be able to do it with any weapon on hand.

OH THAT SNIPER GOT ME I'LL SWITH TO THE cigarette TO DOUBLESHOT HIM AND SWITCH BACK

The only Source game that barely uses tactics is DoD:S, and even that's debatable.

Just because you don't know how to use tactics doesn't mean nobody else does.

Quite the contrary.
I usually play sniper, and there are several things I don't do.
For one, I've never set foot on the battlements, ever. I either control the lower base or the sewers.
I don't use the Huntsman, that's for offense.
There are times where I will cover offenses by giving covering fire, and other times where I'll hold the enemy off when they try to uber and destroy one of our bases.

There is a difference between using your weapons tactically and swapping them just so you can get revenge/kill someone.

Woah, poly count?

I dunno, when i smoothed it out for the render it was like 90k or something. I don't really watch poly count unless its for a blockland.
