I don't know if I ever posted this here yet.
Made this two months ago in a bit under 6 hours. Task was to model and texture a low-poly mailbox with only one 1026 texture, so I had to make the texture, edit it, and do UVs which are laaaammmeeeee.
Anyways, the rest of my class went for a generic closed new blue mailbox with a metalish overlay or whatever. I decided to give mine more personality and had both things open, as well as giving it some cool rust stuff. It ended up being lower poly than most of their things and better looking as well! :D

It does suck somewhat and looks like it belongs in a PS2 game, but that is also partly because the teacher didn't teach us bump mapping and spec masking yet. Were I to reiterate on this it would look better for sure.
