Mechagojira > Jet Jaguar

But they fight each other.

Jet Jaguar was like, sup buddy lets fight Megalon and Gigan.

So what needs to be changed on here.
That looks considerably better. Try giving the gun a bit more contrast(Add some more greys) and see what it looks like when the grip is a solid chunk intsead of ridges.

Also, the reason you're having image problems is BECAUSE you're using Paint.NET; that program is complete garbage.

If you can name the game that this gun is from and who wields it, I will eat my hat.

To get a transparent background: make the image RGBA and make sure it's checked as .png because .jpg won't save the transparency.

Paint.NET has nothing to do with not having transparency on blender image renders.

EDIT: All of this can be done in the scene tab in blender.

Also, I have gimp, but it takes too long to load.

I use Paint.NET for simple edits and such

Really, Paint.NET is unstable, glitchy, and all-around a junk program. GIMP is far superior.

It takes 5 seconds to load for me. Unless I just started my computer, then it takes about a minute. Paint.NET takes longer to start.

I've used it for almost 2 years now and I've yet to experience this "unstable, glitchy junk" lol

gimp's a bloated, messy, confusing whale of a program that is much worse for quick edits than Paint.NET. sure, if you don't mind the 10 minute wait for it to start up just so you can slap a lens flare or two on your pic then it's fine.

Paint.NET glitches and freezes up every 5 minutes on Windows 7. The interface is stupid and it has far less features than gimp. I dont call that a good program.

ahahaa, is your computer a toaster? i've never froze or glitched on paint.net and I run windows 7.

No. My computer is a 1-year old gaming machine.

Windows 7 Premium x64. "Test Mode" Build 7800.

Not that this whole argument matters. Paint.NET pales in comparison to GIMP as far as capability goes and nothings gonna change that. If you guys would much rather use a lesser quality program, be my guest.
