5 or 6 should be good

6 or 8 is good for cylinders. Depends on what you're going for.

How much polys are they?
Enough to melt the motherboard should they ever get into BL.

First one is 360,000 polygons.

Second one is 618,388 polygons.

Go to mod discussion to get more tutorials for stuff like this.
Big list of tutorials is the name of the topic, found at the very top of the page.

also, add some more size and detail to the grips and magazine.

YES! It doesn't even have to be a vehicle! Just export it into a .dts and spawn it via the mission editor! I want to see a melted motherboard that is not mine :D

Out of proportion.

The exporter wouldn't be able to export it all anyway. The max is like 125,000 tris or something. The rest just dont get exported. And by the standards of that car, I bet you all that will get exported would be, like, one headlamp. :cookieMonster:

I got it working thanks to Azerath weapons tutorial
but i got 2 problems you can see them both on the picture
the weapon is colorless and gigantic

nvm on the second

The gun isn't gigantic because of the game.

Well, You need to go to paint and make the materials that you have on the model in MS3D and save it.

Also, the blue think is as big as the palm in a blockhead's hand.
