There's more than one side on that figure, otherwise it would a 2D figure. You can randomly say the side view is bad or actually say the side view is messed up WHILE pointing out which darn side it is and being somewhat specific in your criticism.

God forbid selecting things in Blender 2.5 is like pulling teeth.
Why is it so hard to select the edge I'm clicking and not the one that's on the other side of the model?

Turn wireframe off?

It's not on.
Selecting verts and edges is impossible, but selecting faces seems to be fine.\

2.5 sucks but it won't let me go back to the old version for no raisin.

You know what. Sorry for causing such an irritable hassle.
The argument really just isn't going to help either side.
SO I ask politely Khoz, is most of the problem in his lower waist?
What do you think I should do to fix it? I'm not here to make enemies.
I just need to know what to fix.

No. Click this one. Turn it either on or off and it should fix your problem.

Also Ctrl + Tab is far better for changing the select mode.

I know how to change the selecting type.
I meant that it just had horrible registration on which one I was clicking.
Though it seemed to work better in wireframe mode.

Still how can I get back to 2.49 because 2.5 is harder and less satisfying.

Go to the website and re-download 2.49, that's what I did.

That's the button I meant.
What's it called again?

All I know is that it made selecting things better.

Guys, I'm rendering a weapon in Blockland but it keeps coming out flatshaded. How do I fix this?

T opens the side toolbar then press Smooth, if you're on Blender. Edge splitting:

OH snap. I asked that question wrong XD

I meant to say that it keeps coming out smoothshaded. I'm trying to do the opposite of that.
