OH snap. I asked that question wrong XD

I meant to say that it keeps coming out smoothshaded. I'm trying to do the opposite of that.
Still assuming you're using Blender 2.5, select the object, press T to open the side toolbar and press Flat.

put the awp down you noob

dude you suck uninstall the game

pick up a weel gun

LOL, pretty good.
Though it could use some detail.

Or does it just need matierals?

the bevelling is too small

SO I ask politely Khoz, is most of the problem in his lower waist?
Like I said, he needs a belly and a butt. He needs his belly to stick out from his body, and away from his legs. He needs his back to curve slightly inward.

His but needs to stick out. Right now it is just part of the leg that you moved backwards.

Like I said, compare him to the side view of a real person/sketch of a person. Line up the vertecies on the side view.

And when I said side view, I mean Side View. Like the way Proog explained it to you guys.

Alright.
Also, Proogs statement was terrible btw just drop it

Side view.

You are viewing it.
FROM
THE
SIDE.

SO DIFFICULT TO GRASP THE CONCEPT.
This is what I mean. You are viewing it from the side.

Not the front. Not the back. Not the top. Not the bottom. The side.

I don't understand what the other people were talking about. There are 2 side views, which are just mirror images of eachother.

Edit: I also don't loving understand why you thought I wasn't being specific. If you had actually read what I wrote, you would understand.

Hey guys, I found this modeling program called DAZ studio 4, figured I'd give it a try since it costs like 49.95, but for some reason, they made it free.
Downloading right now, you have to make an account to use it.

I downloaded that a while ago. I don't remember why, but I got rid of it.

I did read it, I just don't understand. Don't get your panties into a twist.

?????????
Also I haven't seen you on steam so It's harder to explain what I'm trying to understand. You've been off for 3 days straight.

?????????
No, that's wrong.

The FRONT has your FACE and BALLS. It is the direction that your feet are pointing.

The SIDE is the part that has your arms, and the sides  of your legs.

Thr TOP has your HEAD AND SHOULDERS.

Someone needds to learn geometry before using a modelling program.

That's not how I look at a human figure. I took geometry last year, get your richard out of a knot. If I didn't know my geometry I wouldn't have been able to make this in the first place. You are being very rude about this. Lets not talk about this anymore.

Perhaps I am being rude. But you need to be right when talking about this stuff.

Front, the way you walk. At least, I go forward, dunno about you.

Side, where your arms are. I put my arms at my side, IRL.

Back, where your BACK is. My back if the opposite of my front.

Top. You can see the top of my head.

Bottom. syou can see the soles of my feet.

Does that clear it up? Sorry for being rude, it's just that I don't understand how you got your view of humanity.

I've always seen the human figure that way. :c I do that even when I draw.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm going to be posting stuff here more often and I don't want to be hated for being misunderstood or for misunderstanding other people.

Well, the point is, that in blockland, the y axis is going to be where you aline the side of your model. If you go by your way, you will end up with a gun that shoots the guy to you left/right, not the guy in front of you.

(Well, not really. But the model will face that way.)
