If you do it right and style it your way, it could become nice.

Still seems like it's got potential, so keep up the work.

No modifiers, but it looks kind of cool with bevel.
Hey man you really gotta tell me how you got that. I've been wanting to do it for a while now.

I had a cube, used "Loop Cut and Slide" on all sides until it looked like this:



Then I used "Extrude Region" on the squares and dragged them out.
