Anyway, i have made the discovery that Fetusaur's back is flat like the back of it's head as seen here and here

That's what I was trying to say before.. :L
Looking forward to the updates.

MLD. Fetusaur's wings curve up a tiny bit.

Atleast in this picture. It isnt in the others but i think it looks better curving up

I'm too busy having a migraine trying figure out how i can connect the head to the body, i don't know why this is so hard, but it never looks right, i must be doing something wrong...

Oooh, look what frame i found

This looks the closest i'll get to an actual side shot of the Fetusaur

I'm assuming the head is as wide as the body or something though, i'm not sure, i'm gonna need to search the video more

It's funny because it's the only one of it's kind in the video that has wings and normal looking eyes

Apparently it's head it wider than it's body

This creature has some strange anatomy...

The bane of hand-drawn style animations is that, although a character is meant to look the same in every frame, it's always a little different. It basically boils down to summing up your image of the character and basing the model on that as much as possible. I think you're doing a great job as it is right now. :)

What is a fetusaur and where is it from?

It is a dinosaur fetus created by BarfQuestion for I Fight Dragons' song 'The Faster the Treadmill'

Despite all of the similar looking Fetusaurs in the video, there is one that stands out from the crowd in both appearance and personality, this one Fetusaur has normal looking eyes and wings apparently, and has a heart for the hero of this pixelated video game it's in and dreams of being just like the hero one day, upset by all the conflict, it flies away to a magical exit hole in the sky which made the Fetusaur break out of the game and into reality where it stands at the player's feet while they look at each other

I realize it's difficult to make things look consistent at all angles when it comes to 2D art, which is why i find it neat to see some consistencies here and there when people manage to pull it off

Thanks for the kind words, though :D

This ended up looking kind of neat.

I'm getting a Husk vibe.

I spent a good 4 hours on this texture. It's made from 16 separate photos. 2480x2480 res.
