I think it looks pretty good.

The cylinder in the middle should have the same number of faces as the outer cylinder.

Okay okay-
1. Make a rectangular prism.
2. Extrude long, thinner sides.
3. Then size them down, so when you view the grip from the bottom, it's like a strectched octagon.
4. Select the 4 back edges of the grip, while it's standing up vertically.
5. Then subdivide.
6. Move the top part a little to give it a curve.
7. Rotate, and now you have a grip.

This thread reminds me of Borderlands...

Bazillions of guns.

Yeah Im a hypocrite.

You can use smooth-shading. A lot of Blockland's default models use it.

The wireframe tool is great for creating customizable wireframes, much better than a wireframe material. The downside is that it takes a lot longer to render.

You can also use dupliverts to display the vertices if you manage to get it working.

Awesome for low poly models but I don't think it's any good for higher poly renders. A 3D wireframe is going increase the face count eightfold assuming closed geometry.

Looks like it's made of sugar. :P

Just learned how to use Blender, all my faces disappeared and the lining from the model remained, what do?

A little project that I started today. Mostly to figure out Blender, also because possibly first car for BL.

Currently trying to figure out how to add wheel wells. Intersect function is either nonexistent or just too obtuse.
